Embarking on a journey that began in March 2023, Prime Wrestling Club has flourished under the banner of Vamos MMA.
We take immense pride in delivering top-tier technical training, transformative travel experiences, continuous year-round competitions, and even collegiate-level camps, all geared towards nurturing our members into exceptional wrestlers.

Jakob Restrepo
Head Coach | Founder
Embarking on a transformative coaching journey, Jakob Restrepo’s expertise has left an indelible mark on the wrestling landscape. He first honed his skills at the revered Vougar’s Honors Wrestling club in Syosset, under the guidance of world champion Vougar Oroudjov.
Building on this foundation, he furthered his experience with NCAA D3 All-American Carlos Restrepo at the Sachem 3 Style Wrestling Club and NCAA D1 All-American Mike Patrovich at the Barn Brothers Wrestling Club.
Jakob’s dedication extends to the High School level, serving as Assistant Varsity Coach at Sachem High School East for two impactful years before finding a home in East Islip, where his coaching prowess continues to thrive.

Raf Lievano
Assistant Coach
Coach Lievano is from Stony Brook, New York where he competed for Ward Melville High School. His father was formerly the head coach of the Hampton Bays Varsity Wrestling Team, and now an assistant coach for the Ward Melville Varsity Wrestling Team.
Coach Lievano began his journey as a wrestler in High School where he progressed from a freshman on JV to a County Championship and Third in New York State as a senior. Coach Lievano committed and attended the University at Buffalo after High School.
After a short stint with the team he then transferred to Sacred Heart University where he started and captained the Pioneers Division One Wrestling Team.
